Waves Grande by Sobha Group is a newly launched residential project that presents exclusive 1 to 4 bedroom apartments and Duplexes at Sobha Hartland, Dubai. The development continues the success story of the tower with its similar design principles, where the apartments offer direct views of the Downtown along with the waterfront views.
The BMU is a T-machine running on an elevated track, featuring a standard 2-man cradle and it has a GRU capacity of 200 kg. The tracks for the machine are installed on steel upstands and clear a high parapet wall of about 6m from the slab. This configuration allows both 117m tall towers to be effectively served.
The engineering for the restraint sockets yielded in about 600 sockets, divided into about 3 types. Aesthetic and safety considerations were top priority, in line with the architect’s demands and the requirements of EN1808:2015.
