Crest Grande

Crest Grande is a multi-building complex under development in Sobha Hartland, Mohammed Bin Rashid City, Dubai. The development comprises three individual buildings: Crest Grande Tower A, Crest Grande Tower B and Crest Grande Tower C.

This is an extensive project with three towers served by a BMU each and the two connecting blocks between the towers being served by power seats using davits. Each part of this project presented a unique challenge and the design of all the machines is customized to each individual tower. Tower A machine and Tower C machine are identical and use a telescopic cradle. For Tower B machine, the recesses are less so only a pantograph cradle is enough. The 10 ton machine for tower B is working at a height of about 145m and the 20 ton machines on Tower A and Tower C have a working height of 170m. Moreover, these machines have a GRU capacity of 500 kg.

Then in the connecting blocks, there are 2 types of davits, the portable davits and parking davits, allowing the power seat to be shifted all along the façade. The davits comprehensively cover the link towers, allowing for complete cleaning of the façade.

There was significant engineering for the restraint sockets, resulting in about 2000 sockets, divided into about 6 types. Aesthetic considerations were top priority, in line with the architect’s demands. Since 2016, ASE and SCL have worked very closely on multiple projects, cultivating a very close business and fruitful relationship.
